Event Description

South Street Spring Festival is back with even more food, drink, music and fun! On Saturday, May 3rd, 11:00am to 8:00pm, enjoy a FREE all-ages outdoor party that will close South Street between Front and 8th, and run along 2nd Street Plaza. Get your fill of the best tastes, sips, sights and sounds of the district with 30 restaurants/bars serving outdoors, music from 3 stages and 8 performance areas, and dozens of vendors and artists. Brauhaus Schmitz’s Maifest will take over the 700 block with German beers, food, dancers and a Maypole. Families can enjoy the free kid zone plus Art/Gage by Philadelphia Magic Garden.
