Event Description

The Walnut Club celebrates this historic moment for our country with the first annual Women Making History Celebration and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Water Works (640 Water Works Drive). Connect with the city’s most accomplished women in all aspects of business, media, arts, and politics as they celebrate each other’s achievements - and count down to the nomination of the first woman running for office of the President. This non-partisan event is open to the public. Tickets are $100-175 and include an open bar, a raw bar, endless food and live entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefit Vision 2020: Equality in Sight   which plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment with the largest gathering of women leaders in U.S. history in Philadelphia in 2020.
