Event Description
Interested in learning more about grafted tomatoes? Do you have limited space to rotate your crops and suffer from tomato blight in the garden? Nathan will demonstrate how to graft onto a blight resistant root stock and explain why & how grafting works. This workshop will cover some advanced technique; we'll cover starting root stock seed, timing your scion seed for successful grafting, healing and plant your grafted tomato, as well as the benefits of grafted stock.
Everyone will get some root stock seed and grafting clips to take home to get started.
