The World Premiere of The Mighty Macs Movie

On October 14, 2011, join Immaculata University, Sony Pictures, and Quaker Media as the groups present the world premiere of a Tim Chambers Film, The Mighty Macs. The Mighty Macs movie is based on the true story and legacy of Immaculata University’s 1972, 1973, and 1974 National Championship Women’s Basketball Teams. Joining the original Mighty Macs on the red carpet are stars from the movie including: Director Tim Chambers; Carla Gugino, Ellen Burstyn, and Philadelphia’s own David Boreanaz. After the movie premiere, all guests are invited to celebrate at a ’70s themed disco party in the Kimmel Center’s Commonwealth Plaza, which will feature a cash bar. Guests are encouraged to wear black-tie or ’70s themed attire. Proceeds will Benefit Immaculata University & Coaches vs. Cancer.
