For the Delaware Valley's social elite - as well as every man, woman and child who ever has been, is or will unite in the fight against breast cancer - October 15, 2011 is all about the X. Why? Because that is the day the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® takes our second-largest annual fundraiser to the extreme - with a goal of doubling our fundraising and our attendance. The 10^th anniversary Pink Tie Ball will feature silent and live auctions with rare treasures and experiences valued at a minimum of $1,000, up to $100,000; entertainment from the Crystals, Marvelettes & Shirelles; the chance experience the brand new multi-million dollar, 17,000-square-foot Cescaphe Vie dining, entertainment and banquet facility; and the After X Party, especially for young professionals featuring Mix 106.1 DJ Robbie Rob.
