Saturday, May 8 is the next Satellite Second Saturday, a monthly art and craft event at 50th & Baltimore, presented by West Philly's VIX Emporium and the Satellite Cafe. Find the perfect Mother's Day gift among the wondrous handmade wares by local artisan vendors at the outdoor craft fair, from 11 to 5 on the triangle in front of the Firehouse. At VIX, dress a doll magnet for Mom with "Me & My Sisters" at a free craft workshop from 12 to 4. Neighbors Younglove's Vintage hosts an opening for photographer Molly Landergan at 5 and Dock Street brewpub joins the fun with food & drink specials. Live music throughout the day and refreshments too.
