Greensgrow West: Opening Celebration

We are excited to announce the opening of our new location in West Philadelphia. With the support of owner Algernong Allen, Greensgrow West will be situated at the former site of Elena's Soul Lounge at 4912 Baltimore Avenue. The new location will continue the organization's mission to facilitate community greening and fresh food access for everyone.

Although much smaller in footprint, the new West Philly location will feature a fully stocked garden center, a small farmer's market, outdoor workshop and classroom space, and will serve as a pickup location for the CSA.

Greensgrow is excited to have the opportunity to serve a neighborhood with such a rich and diverse tradition of community gardening, and looks forward to working with the many businesses and community groups that make Baltimore Avenue one of Philadelphia's most successful commercial corridors.

Greensgrow West will be open Thursday-Sunday from 11am-7pm this spring.
