Event Description

As fall approaches and the summer growing season ends, how do we keep eating locally?  What is fresh?  In part two of our Food for Thought series withWeavers Way Co-op, we’ll explore eating locally with, and sometimes in spite of, the seasons.  Join fermenter and food writer Amanda Pfeiffer and others to challenge your thoughts and assumptions about the food we eat – there’s a lot more to the picture than most of us know.  Enjoy local wine and appetizers while exploring seasonal eating in the Schuylkill Center’s forest pavilion, in the glow of a campfire.
