Fly School Circus Arts will be ending their Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) project, "Daringly High," on a high note with flying trapeze performances on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th at 8pm. Tickets are only $10 at the door (cash only). These first-time Center City performances will showcase both the incredible talent and skills of the Fly School staff and the hard-earned accomplishments of their students. This will be the last chance to see the trapeze and expect to fill the best spots in the house quickly; arriving early is recommended! Classes are still available at 9am, 11:30am, 4:30pm and 7pm everyday through April 27. Call 215-546-PIFA or visit www.pifa.org for tickets. For more information on Fly School Circus Arts, visit www.flyschoolcircusarts.com and follow @flyschoolcircus on Twitter. This year’s show, “Daringly High,” is based on the theme, a moment in time. On October 30th, 1965, Australian model Jean Shrimpton wore a “daringly high” mini dress which, at that time, was not socially accepted. She inspired individuality, empowerment, and youthful domination for women’s fashion. “Daringly High” is a celebration of the empowerment, confidence, and freedom found in doing the unexpected, flying in the face of limitations and trying something you never thought possible.
