Event Description
They are the first to run into a burning building, they risk their lives to save ours, and they serve the community to keep us safe. The men and women firefighters of Philadelphia are our daily super heroes and Miles Table, will be honoring all their works of heroism by remembering one who recently fell.
On April 6, 2013, a 29 year Philadelphia firefighter veteran lost his life while fighting a fire in Queen Village. In honor of his heroic deeds, Miles Table is donating a portion of all proceeds on Saturday May 4th, Firefighter Appreciation Day, to The Captain Goodwin Memorial Fund.
Join Miles Table in celebrating firefighters by commemorating Fire Captain Michael Goodwin. This day we will remember Philly’s finest, men and women in uniform, those past, present, and future. Enjoy breakfast all day with omelets, French toast, parfaits or dive into other Miles Table's menu items including a classic cheeseburger, a cobb salad or a flat bread pizza.
Chef Michael Lynch is also preparing a special menu inspired by firefighters including, Thee Alarm Chili and a Sriracha Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich. Come hungry, leave satisfied with a full stomach and knowing you helped a good cause.
