Event Description

The Schuylkill Center sits perched atop and connected to the Schuylkill River Trail, just voted the number one urban trail in the country by USA Today. In a lovely walk between the Shawmont and Miquon train stations, director Mike Weilbacher introduces you to birds, creeks, trees, flowers, weeds, rocks and even the human history of the area. It’s three-mile round trip, so dress appropriately, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water and a snack. Park at the bottom of Shawmont Avenue by the train bridge; meet at the Shawmont train station.

This is a free event.
