Come out to the Wagner Free Institute of Science to learn about the people, places, and events that shaped North Philadelphia's dynamic history - including the Columbia Avenue riots, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s visit to Grace Baptist Temple, the Village of Arts and Humanities, the Blue Horizon boxing arena, and more. “Unedited Philadelphia: Girard to Lehigh" will feature rarely-seen, unedited news footage from the Temple University Libraries' Special Collections Research Center Urban Archives and a discussion led by Ken Scott, President of the Beech Companies.
