Event Description

Travel back to 1938 Long Island for a summer of young love, campfires, and dances. Against the idyllic backdrop of a summer camp, two teenagers find each other and fall headlong into a passionate romance. But as their love deepens, so does their immersion into the dangerous web of Nazi ideology.

This hauntingly relevant story, inspired by the real Camp Siegfried, delves into the darkness of a "terrifying psychosexual brew of sadism and fascism," as described by The New York Times. Disguised as a coming-of-age narrative, it uncovers how easily one can be ensnared by the seductive allure of fascism and the hatred it breeds.
