SUMMARY:Theatre Exile presents ‘Camp Siegfried’
DESCRIPTION:Travel back to 1938 Long Island for a summer of young love
, campfires, and dances. Against the idyllic backdrop of a summer camp
, two teenagers find each other and fall headlong into a passionate ro
mance. But as their love deepens, so does their immersion into the dan
gerous web of Nazi ideology. \nThis hauntingly relevant story, inspir
ed by the real Camp Siegfried, delves into the darkness of a \"terrify
ing psychosexual brew of sadism and fascism,\" as described by The New
York Times. Disguised as a coming-of-age narrative, it uncovers how e
asily one can be ensnared by the seductive allure of fascism and the h
atred it breeds. \n\nFor more information visit http://phillytodo.com
