The Clay Studio presents Clay & Conversations, an exciting series of informal conversations with ceramic artists, curators, scholars, and friends. On December 15th, join Jennifer Zwilling, Curator, and Director of Artistic Programs, as she welcomes The Clay Studio staff members Frankie Reyes, teaching artists, and Nuokan Huang, education coordinator. Reyes’s artistic practice investigates conceptual understandings of habitat while exploring the formal properties of drawing, painting, and ceramics. Huang focuses on creating small-scale works that have evolved from traditional forms like pots into mini-landscapes that offer more creative freedom.
