Event Description

Be the first to sample delicious eats from Rex 1516, the soon-to-open South Street eatery by Jet Wine Bar creators Jill Weber and Evan Malone, at Drink Philly’s First Friday, February 5^th.

First Friday will feature a sampling of the Southern/Creole-style restaurant’s fare—think "triple threat" mac 'n' cheese (with gruyere, swiss, and fontina) with roasted tomatoes, and a traditional jambalaya.

They’re pairing the eats with samples of winter sangria (orange, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) and Crane Lake Viognier from California.

The event will also feature local artists and musicians such as Daniel Howard, Kevin B. Huang, Miguel Antonio Horn, Rachel Lynn Kotkoskie, and Robert Baruch.
