One home, one revolution, two sides! Step back into the 1700s and hear the tales of those who lived in Woodford Mansion, a historic summer home in East Fairmount Park. Discover the story of the Patriot George Clymer, a signatory of both the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution, and learn about the Franks Family, who sided with the British during the British occupation of Philadelphia.
Visit this National Historic Landmark from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays through Sundays in July for these special Patriot & Loyalist Tours. Experience how people lived during the American Revolution through the Naomi Wood Collection of period antiques and art which adorns every room of Woodford Mansion.
Don't miss this jewel of Philadelphia history, and discover how it helped shaped a city and a nation.
