Event Description

Join us for an engaging afternoon with LandLab resident artist Jake Beckman as he discusses his residency project (Future Non-object #1: Sol’s Reprise). Jake will present the process and research that informed his sculpture, as well as the myriad art and non-art sources that provided inspiration for its form and content.  This will be an exciting evening exploring the creative process and the concept of permanence in both art and nature.  The sculpture is on view now at the Schuylkill Center and will be ultimately be consumed by myriad species of local fungus.

Non-members $15 | Members $10
