We live in turbulent times and it can feel like we have no protection from the turmoil around us. We try to cope with our anxiety and stress but, if we’re honest, many of the ways we try to protect ourselves don’t really do the job. This experience is not new. Buddha taught 2,500 years ago that human life is full of suffering that we cannot prevent through external maneuvering. To help us find real protection, he taught the practice of refuge—a method to develop lasting peace of mind. Come learn to protect yourself from anger, stress, and worry, and gradually develop a stable and lasting experience of inner peace.
Schedule:
Session 1 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Session 2 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Cost: $25
