Earth Day: Volunteer with Greensgrow

Every year on Earth Day Greensgrow Farms joins forces with neighborhood organizations and sponsors to raise an army of volunteers and beautify our neighborhood, from parks to senior centers, to neglected street corners.  This year we are teaming up with Subaru and Green Mountain Energy’s Sun Club to plant and hoe and celebrate Earth Day together – and we need YOUR HELP!

Join us for a full day of activities – including a dedication ceremony for our new solar pavilion, a 15 foot high structure that captures the sun’s energy and helps to power the farm. After we flip the switch, we’ll enjoy breakfast, then break up into teams and start planting! Green Mountain Energy’s Sun Club will provide some fun surprises to reward our dedicated volunteers at lunchtime. Then we’ll finish our beautification projects, and the whole neighborhood will enjoy the fruits of our labor all season long.
