Event Description

Come together in fellowship while you cook and enjoy a three-course meal fit for a Pope during The World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. This hands-on cooking event takes place in a fully-equipped commercial kitchen right in downtown Philly. You’ll learn handy cooking tips, the miraculous history behind each dish, and fascinating fun facts about the personal food favorites of Popes, past and present.

Our heavenly menu includes:

A delightful appetizer enjoyed by Pope Paul II back in the 1400’s (an oldie, but a goodie!)
St. Peter’s Fish, honoring the very first Pope, served with a red wine risotto (popular with the Swiss Guard)
A decadent cherry dessert enjoyed by Pope Benedict XVI.

This truly special event is also one you can feel really good about. Extra meals will be packaged for Aid For Friends, a local ministry that provides meals for homebound elderly. Also, included in the purchase of your ticket, is a donation to MANNA, which feeds people with acute illness.
