Event Description

We’ll explore the unique Ringing Rocks boulder field where the stones, some piled ten feet tall, ring like bells when hit with a hammer. These rocks, with few plants growing on them, offer a strange puzzle which has baffled scientists for decades. We’ll hike out to the rocks and find out which ones sing (hint, it’s only one-third of them) on this fall field trip.

For ages 5 – 12. Pre-registration is required.
