First making his name when the Dan Reed Network burst onto the international rock scene in the late 1980s, Dan Reed led his multi-ethnic band of funk rockers through tours of Europe and the USA with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, INXS and UB40, selling more than 2 million albums worldwide. Following an eye-opening interview Dan conducted with the Dalai Lama for Spin Magazine, he longed for more than the rock and roll lifestyle and took a hiatus from Dan Reed Network in 1994.
