City Tap House, Philadelphia’s go-to destination for craft beer, is celebrating Oktoberfest with a Sam Adams Stein Hoisting Competition on September 29th at City Tap House University City, and October 16th at City Tap House Logan Square. Both events will begin at 5pm, featuring Oktoberfest-inspired fare, Sam Adams’ OctoberFest, and a Stein Hoisting Competition! Guests can get their German fare fix with dishes such as the German Sausage Sampler, chock-full of knockwurst, kielbasa, and bratwurst; Potato Pancakes, served with a side of apple compote and toppeCid with a savory chive crème fraiche; and Beer Braised Pork and Sauerkraut Fritters. Bartenders will be pouring Sam Adams’ OctoberFest all night, and guests can flex their beer muscles in a Stein Hoisting Competition, starting at 6:30 pm. The winner will receive a City Tap House gift card!
