Event Description

Chestnut Hill hosts its second annual book festival July 9th to 11th, 2009. This weekend-long event will feature locally and nationally recognized authors and will include author readings, panel discussions, writer workshops, poetry, fiction, science-fiction events, a singer/songwriter slam, improv and live chess demonstrations. Green Eggs & Ham breakfast for kids with an appearance by Cat in the Hat. Lots of fun for the entire family in beautiful Chestnut Hill which was named a 2010 Distinctive Destination by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
