This evening will include an inspiring talk and a beautiful Buddhist meditation on compassion from 7:00-8:00pm, and an after-party with desserts and playful raffle prizes. Start your year off right with a big present to yourself!
In these difficult times, we often lose sight of the beauty and potential of human life. On this evening, we will rediscover and celebrate the amazing qualities that exist within us and come to identify with these qualities, letting go of a downcast and heavy heart.
We will invite all the compassionate, peaceful beings in the universe to come and fill us with their positive energy. We will then receive some of their kind advice on how to keep that positive energy going throughout the new year.
Led by senior Buddhist monk, Gen Tenzin.
$10 suggested donation (from generosity comes wealth)
Everyone is welcome, including children.
We will be lighting candles for peace, so come and light your candle!
