2nd Annual Stout & Chowder Festival 2011

Enter the totally nautical world of the Independence Seaport Museum for an evening of sampling dark/seasonal beers (served at Burly Beer Stations), delectable soups and stews, and a special dessert “savor session” presented by Betty's Speakeasy , Franklin Fountain and Hank's Gourmet Beverages.  Soups & Stews by Brulee Catering.  Spend some time relaxing in our lounge or hang outside taking in the amazing views with a cigar by John Hay Cigars. In honor of the festival's Burly Beer theme and No-Shave November, a Burly Beard Competition will take place to name the official bearded mascot of Stout & Chowder Fest 2012. The competition will be judged by IFC's Whisker Wars celebrity and Beard Team USA member Myk O'Connor. The winner will receive a sweet trophy along with other prizes.  Think you have the burliest beard?  You can register that evening at check-in.

Tickets are $60 per person and include access to the Independence Seaport Museum and all its exhibits prior to the event (before 5:00 pm), unlimited samples of beer, soup, desserts and other tasty treats, a keepsake glass mug, and access to our official after-party at Triumph Brewing Company in Old City.   Plus, proceeds benefit the museum!
