Little Lace Dress

You've heard of the little black dress, well say hello to it's equally worthy counterpart, the "little lace dress." Once you're acquainted, this fashion must-have is bound to become a staple in your closet, if it isn't already. I've paid homage to lace in the past, but this particular post was inspired by a special request from a friend in search of the perfect lace dress for her rehearsal dinner.

Being a fan of Valentino and all things lace, I wanted to share some affordable ways of achieving this ornate and delicate look. Because this is my friend's big day, I wanted to help her find something beyond spectacular. When it comes to weddings there's immense pressure to make everything flawless so I found some great items suited just for such an occasion.

Retro Lace

Since there is an abundance of lace dresses out there, look for a well made dress, not necessarily the most expensive dress you find. The quality of the fabric is very important, so feel it and see how it lays against your skin. As you can tell, I am ga-ga for lace. My recommendation is to relinquish your obsession with other prints and try a lace dress on for size.
