100 Things to do in Philly + Events + Philadelphia Deals & more!
Recently, I have become very nostalgic for my hometown of Philadelphia. Perhaps because spring is on the horizon and baseball is a big deal in Philadelphia but it’s more then that. Philadelphia has a certain character that is not offered in any other town. I can never remember a time saying I am bored or there is nothing to do because there is always something to do around town. For this reason, I have grown to appreciate my city and thus the reason why I love Philadelphia.
The Franklin Institute is one of the most beloved museums in the city. It also one of my personal favorites as it is completely interactive and there is never a dull moment.
Phillie Phanatic isn’t exactly a tourist attraction but certainly an icon of the city. The mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies is certainly a must see at any Phillies game.
The Continental a great place for lunch or late night bites. Located in the heart of Olde City Philadelphia this eattery is an icon to the city.
The Betsy Ross House is an historic landmark in Philadelphia. The place where Betsy may or may not have sewn the first American flag. Either way Betsy was the inspiration the title of this blog and by the way she was a widow who raised seven children and worked on her seamstress business until the age of 70.
