Built more than 250 years ago as a summer retreat along the banks of the Schuylkill River, Woodford Mansion has been home to many prominent Philadelphia families. The women associated with Woodford played many roles and their stories are told through an impressive collection of portraits and antiques. Tour Woodford from March 22nd through March 26th during Women's History Month for tours focused on the lives and legends of the women of Woodford, such as Hannah Coleman, Rebecca Franks, Bilah Abigail Franks, and Naomi Wood, whose antiques collection fills the museum.

Regular admission applies for the tour, prices are $8.oo for adults, and $5 for senior citizens.
