Event Description

Philadelphia-based poet, educator, and community ethnographer, Sabriaya Shipley will host Theatre Exile’s third workshop of the 2021/22 season, titled “Centering Community Voice” (For Actors/Performers/Writers)! Part of “centering community voice” is being able, as artists, to map out the communities we belong to in order to either connect or heal them. Participants in this workshop will engage in activities garnered towards community building & ethnography that celebrates both the individual and the communities they belong to. Participants will receive a Professional Development Certificate after completing the workshop. Tickets are $35 per person.
