The Get Offended Comedy Contest

Join us for a night of irreverent comedy as Rob DeSantis and Evan Marz present: The Get Offended Comedy Contest to showcase some of the best, funniest and most offensive comedians in the Tri-State area. “I’ve got comics coming from places as far as NYC and Lower Delaware. Plus a bunch of awesome comics right out of Philly. People love dirty humor and what better way than to celebrate it and find out who is Philadelphia’s Funniest Most Offensive Comic.”

Marz and DeSantis decided to have the event at Connie’s Ric Rac in South Philly at 1132 S. 9th Street Philadelphia, PA 19147 (215) 279-7587 at 9th and Ellsworth just a few blocks from Geno’s Steaks. “It’s a great venue to have a comedy show and the people of South Philadelphia really embrace this type of humor. It’s not a Roast like they do on Comedy Central. Comedians won’t be making fun of each other specifically, but they certainly will be making fun of everything else.”

The winner gets $100 for their offenses and more importantly the prestigious (or maybe not so flattering) award of Philadelphia’s Funniest Most Offensive Comic. Not necessarily something to tell your parents about, but certainly will gain respect among blue comics.
