The Clay Studio presents Between Horizons | 경계를 넘어서

Explore the human instinct to travel and seek new perspectives through 'Between Horizons | 경계를 넘어서.' This exhibition showcases the ceramic artwork of twelve talented artists who embarked on their ceramic journey in Korea and later pursued graduate studies in the US. Their sculptures reflect the evolving personal narratives born from the courageous choice to relocate to a foreign land in pursuit of fresh outlooks.

Delve into the profound questions this geographic transition raises: How has this journey influenced their artistic identities? How has immersion in new cultures shaped their artistic processes and perspectives? And, most importantly, how do they perceive themselves after straddling two distinct societies? These artists offer a unique viewpoint, gazing at their homeland and adopted home from within and beyond the horizon.
