Event Description

Enjoy a family-friendly, high-energy musical performance by Sister Cities Girlchoir (SCG), the girl empowerment choral academy serving girls in Philadelphia and Camden, NJ. SCG builds communities of music makers that empower girls to occupy their unique position in creating a better world. SCG piloted in Summer 2012 with 12 girls and currently serves more than 250 girls in the region. The choir has performed side-by-side with Opera Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Singers, Ana Crusis Women’s Choir, Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, and The Broadway Dreams Foundation.
