Event Description

Shofuso’s 1954 architect was Junzo Yoshimura. Although he designed Shofuso, a traditional-style Japanese house, Yoshimura was a primarily mid-century modernist influenced by his American modernist colleagues Antonin Raymond and George Nakashima. Join us for a day-long self-guided tour of mid-20th century homes in Bucks County, PA that reflects theses influences on Shofuso's Japanese modernist architect. All proceeds benefit Shofuso's Roof Restoration Fund. Part of Design Philly Week. Register online. Cost is $50 per person.
