Registration Required. Just in time for the holidays gift giving season! Learn to make this herbal essential for your bar, or to give as gifts to make your friends and family a little jollier this season. We are excited to have Phoebe Esomon from Emmanuelle coming to the Greensgrow for the first time to teach! She is well know for her homemade mixers in the Philly cocktail scene.
Our knowledgeable mixologist will give us a history how bitters are used and how they fit into cocktail history and culture. We'll learn about the more common varieties of bitters and botanical agents and the methodology of compounding bitters.
Everyone will make two jars of bitters–one to gift, one to keep! We'll get tips on crafting quality cocktails. Sorry-we cannot serve alcoholic drinks at the Greensgrow Community Kitchen–but we can taste the bitters with non alcoholic drinks!
