Event Description

Join Coach Brenda Chadambura, from Kids Public Speaking Coach (http://www.kidspeakshine.com/) and develop confidence through public speaking!

During Make My Storybook Come to Life, children will kids read their books out loud using public speaking principles (voice projection, tone, articulation etc). We will have a few set books to use for the workshop and will also encourage the kids to bring one of their favorite books each week.

Goals:
There is a strong connection between reading well and speaking well. Therefore, the goal of the workshop is to introduce public speaking skills in a fun and non-threatening way they can use in their daily lives and in school.
