Event Description

The first day of summer and the longest day of the year will be filled with FREE music at locations all over the city at this year’s Make Music Philly Day. As part of the National Music Day, Philadelphia and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation will highlight and celebrate the role of music in our lives and our city with a full day of live entertainment at the Race Street Pier and the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing.

Enjoy a full day of music by talented local musicians from every genre of music. Artists include:

Brandywine Ridge – Bluegrass and roots band

Laura Dishong – Harpist and singer songwriter

Dante Bucci – Hand pan drummer

Matthew Green – Acoustic singer songwriter
