LGBT Party at the 2015 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show

G Philly and The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society invite you to get your fabulous on with the LGBT community at the 2015 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show. The event will kick off with a special introduction by PHS President Drew Becher, followed by mixing and mingling with iconic film star Pam Grier, cocktails and food samplings, and a special performance by The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus.

About the Flower Show:

The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is the world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show, which blooms every March at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Attracting more than 260,000 people annually, the show features the world’s premier landscape designers and florists, who turn 10 acres of the Convention Center into a floral fantasy of beautiful plants and cutting-edge designs. In addition to the major garden displays, the Flower Show hosts world-renowned competitions in horticulture and artistic floral arranging, hundreds of gardening presentations and demonstrations, special events, a mammoth indoor Marketplace, and a city-wide Flower Show Week celebration throughout the Philadelphia region. Proceeds from the Show support PHS, particularly the City Harvest program, which feeds more than 1,200 families each week during the growing season.
