Event Description
This free, family-friendly afternoon will feature Israel’s legendary singer and songwriter David Broza plus performances by Ethiopian-born Israeli singer Ayala Ingedeshet, The Melevah Malkah Band, a klezmer-jazz group from Germantown Jewish Centre, and the famed Mummers’ Avalon String Band. Falafel and other festive foods will be available for sale throughout the day. Children will create a giant Israeli flag out of K’NEX and challenge their friends to a spirited game of Ga Ga, an Israeli version of dodge ball, in the festival sports area.
