Introduction to Swordfighting

An introduction to basic combat techniques from Modern Kenjutsu
(This course is required for participation in the Intermediate and Advanced Swordfighting courses)

Saturdays Demeber 11th & 18th from 9am-1pm

At the end of this 2-week course you will have a thorough understanding of the basics of Modern Kenjutsu, including:
- Effective stances and positioning
- Proper weight distribution
- Quick, efficient movement
- Effective avoidance of attacks
- Methods of cutting, thrusting, blocking and parrying
- Modern combat techniques and theory

Registration Fees:
Your own bokken (wooden practice sword) is included in the class fee.
$100 if registered by Nov. 18th
$115 after Nov. 18th
$125 day-of registration
