Event Description

Tantric meditation is a special method to transform our enjoyment of beautiful objects into causes of peace, bliss, and wisdom.  Buddha taught in general that objects of desire are the source of all our suffering and should be avoided.  In the Tantras he explained a special method whereby our enjoyment of objects of desire is a cause of pure bliss.  With this blissful mind we then engage in meditation on emptiness, permanently freeing our mind from attachment.

No meditation experience necessary.  This course will be taught by Gen Tenzin, Buddhist monk and Resident Teacher of Amitayus Kadampa Buddhist Center.

Cost: $30
