First making his name when the Dan Reed Network burst onto the international rock scene in the late 1980s, Dan Reed led his multi-ethnic band of funk-rockers through tours of Europe at the US with the likes of The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Bon Jovi, INXS, UB40; landing a top 40 hit and selling more than 2 million records.

Following an eye-opening interview Dan conducted with the Dalai Lama for SPIN Magazine, he longed for more than the rock and roll lifestyle and took a hiatus from Dan Reed Network in 1994.  After travelling and studying in India, Honduras and Jerusalem, Dan is back with a triumphant new record, Coming Up For Air.
