Event Description

An intermediate photography course that focuses on key design and composition tips that will help create interest and structure in an image. Basic compositional elements will be covered such as how to train your eye to find the right balance between subjects and backgrounds, how to lead the viewers’ eye and how to use focus, color, and perspective as tools to create dynamic images.

Marian (Stasiorowski) Howard is a lens-based media artist living in Philadelphia. Her Polaroid emulsion installation, including photographs taken at the Schuylkill Center, will be on view in the gallery in our summer exhibition, Making in Place.

Participants must supply their own camera.
