Centipede Tours presents “Evening Strolls through History”

Centipede Tours brings back “Evening Strolls through History,” two 90-minute tours led by guides dressed in colonial costumes. Beginning July 16 and running through October 9, the evening walking tours allow patrons to journey back to 18th-century Philadelphia. On the Historic Philadelphia tour, hear the dramatic story of America’s fight for freedom as you explore the exteriors of Independence Hall, Christ Church, The Betsy Ross House, and more. During the Society Hill tour, visitors will explore one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods as guides point out Trinity houses, carriage steps, and discuss past colonial residents' customs and lifestyles while providing folklore and anecdotes.
