SUMMARY:Walk for Peace
DESCRIPTION:The walk will begin at Lloyd Hall and will continue along
Boathouse Row. As we walk along the beautiful Schuylkill River, we wil
l rest intermittently to hear resident teacher, Gen Tenzin, read inspi
ring sections of the “Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life” by
Shantideva. A potluck lunch will follow the walk.\nDate: June 20, 201
5Time: 11am-1pmLocation: Philadelphia Museum of Art (near Lloyd Hall,
1 Boathouse Row)\nPlease join us to help fundraise for Amitayus Kadamp
a Buddhist Center so we may continue to support thePhiladelphia commun
ity. A gift to a Dharma center is an extremely powerful act of giving.
No individual owns aDharma center (we are a registered not-for-profit
corporation) and its very existence is dedicated to the benefit of al
lliving beings. Your gift ensures the presence of Dharma in this city
and our world. It is the gift that keeps giving:you will continue to r
eceive benefits from this gift for as long as Kadam Dharma remains in
this world!\n\nFor more information visit http://phillytodo.com/events
