 g on August 2nd showcasing new works by Philadelphia artist, yoga teac
 her and DY community member Lauren Rinaldi. Please join us for a beaut
 iful evening of art and refreshments!  In this exhibition, Lauren pres
 ents a series of paintings that focus on telling intricate and persona
 l stories featuring unexpected juxtapositions and contradictory condit
 ions of dreams and reality. She draws inspiration from children's book
 s, old Hollywood, art history, meditation, memories, badly written par
 anormal romance novels and asana. The visual language she uses tends t
 o be passively confrontational, intimate and seductive, yet repugnant 
 in its portrayal.   **A portion of all sales of artwork will be donate
 d to CHOP, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, through the Dhyana
