ngest Distance between Two Points” with Katie Hudnall
DESCRIPTION:Join the Museum for Art in Wood for an in-depth conversati
on with artist Katie Hudnall for her current exhibition “The Longest
Distance between Two Points.” Hudnall makes tools, furniture, and o
bjects that are perfectly suited for a peculiar world. The first museu
m-organized solo presentation of Hudnall’s unique and captivating wo
rk reveals a rare glimpse into the artist’s rich inner world. Here,
the absurd and mechanically improbable merge with fine woodworking and
salvaged wood materials to bring mechanisms and structures to life an
 d action.\n\nFor more information visit http://phillytodo.com/events/t
