DESCRIPTION:South Street kicks off Philly's summer festival season wit
 h a free, all-day, all ages block party on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 
 11:00am to 8:00pm. South Street Spring Festival will take over South S
 treet between Front and 8th, plus continue onto 2nd Street Plaza. 30+ 
 restaurants and bars will serve food and drink outside on the street. 
  The district will come alive with music and entertainment from dozen
 s of bands on stages throughout the festival. Children of all ages wil
 l enjoy free family fun in the Family Fun Zone. 100+ artists and retai
 lers will cater to your shopping needs. In conjunction with the Festiv
 al, Brauhaus Schmitz will host the 6th Annual German Maifest with Germ
 an beers, dancers, music, food and the city’s largest Maypole. Atomi
 c City Comics will host free giveaways and super hero sightings during
  Free Comic Book Day. South Street Spring Festival is FREE and open to
  the public. Food and drink are pay-as-you-go. 21 and up with identifi
