DESCRIPTION:On October 9th, it's another Satellite Second Saturday! Lo
 cal artists and craftspeople come out and vend their creations in the 
 triangle at 50th & Baltimore, right in front of the Firehouse. Check o
 ut all the wondrous handmade wares, such as reconstructed childrens' c
 lothing, cards, boxes, jewelry, and knitted accessories - there's alwa
 ys something unique and special to find.\n\nAt VIX, you can make a pai
 r of earrings (for FREE!) with Krista Peel, jewelry maker extraordinai
 re and keeper of the Philadelphia Art Hotel, where she and her husband
  host artists who are visiting Philadelphia, giving them a place to li
 ve and work for a while in exchange for a piece of their artwork. She 
 an amazingly talented artist herself and a super sweet lady. Stop by w
 hile supplies last and she'll help you create your own unique pair of 
 earrings to take home. Check out her distinctive designs at VIX while 
 you're here, and enjoy complimentary refreshments. There's more crafty
  fun for fall with Nikki and Jazzy at Klash Boutique (formerly Essence
